Company Profile:
The combination of two very successful, old-line glazing
companies has created a new company, perfectly positioned to be
a major factor in the future construction of the Cincinnati and
Northern Kentucky areas. Edwin
J. Robinson, in Newport Kentucky, founded the E.J. Robinson
Glass Company in 1939. Bob
Diers purchased E. J. Robinson Glass Co. in 1992.
Andy’s Glass Company was opened in Cincinnati in 1946, primarily as
a residential and automotive glass company. The founder was Andy
Fassler. In 1981, Jerry and Bob Diers purchased the business. In 1988,
Bob assumed the glazing portion of Andy's Mirror & Glass. By 1995,
both businesses were successfully combined to form the largest privately held
glazing company in Cincinnati.
Concentrating on projects from residential re-glazing to major
commercial glazing projects such as the Alms & Doepke
building downtown, the new U. S. Courthouse in Covington, KY,
and Concourse “F” at the Greater Cincinnati Int’l Airport,
the new combined company has successfully installed literally
millions of square feet of glazing products within the
Cincinnati area.
